There are two necessary factors to make air cooler run and cools down. The first is the power supply and the second is water source. We all have the power supply 220v or 380v electricity. As for the water source , The water supply system can use tap water, but some factories are on upper floors, and most of the water pipes are exposed to sun, especially in summer when the cold water on the first floor is sent to upper floors, the cool water will become warm. so some people have the question, whether the use of warm water will affect the cooling effect of air cooler, and whether the cooling effect of the environmental protection air cooler will be better use chilled water!

With this question in mind, we went to visit a cooling project site which equipped XIKOO industrial air coolers with a chiller for normal temperature water treatment, and a workshop did not add a chiller for the environmentally-friendly air-conditioning water supply system.

Normally The environmental protection air cooler connect tap water with normal temperature, and the water temperature control range is within 0-35 degrees. By injecting a certain amount of water into the water tank in the machine in advance, the water is cooled by the chiller refrigeration system, and then the low-temperature cooling water is sent by the water pump. After entering the equipment that needs to be cooled, the chilled water of the chiller will take away the heat, then the temperature will rise and then return to the water tank to achieve cooling. The water machine is a kind of water cooling equipment, and the chiller is a cooling water equipment that can provide constant temperature, constant current and constant pressure. The industrial air cooler project case site we visited uses this kind of normal temperature chiller to control the water temperature at about 20 degrees and then supply it to the environmental protection air conditioner. Temperature of air outlet is about 26 degrees, this cooling effect is very good and very obvious.

Besides, another cooling project did not install a chiller and the workshop is on fourth floor. The environmental friendly air cooler water source is connected to the normal temperature tap water directly. Professional temperature measurement is used to measure at an ambient temperature of 35 degrees in summer. The temperature of the air outlet of air cooler if 28 degrees. Compared with the effect of installing a chiller, there is indeed a temperature difference of about 2 degrees. In contrast, if we use chilled water, there will be a certain temperature difference effect than we use normal tap water.
